These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and PowerSupporter (“we”, “us”) about your use of the Approved! app (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who can use Approved!

You must be at least 16 years old, and able to enter a binding agreement, to use the App. You must not use it if we have previously suspended or banned you.

2. Your account

Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
One person, one account. Do not impersonate others or create accounts to manipulate votes.
Tell us straight away if you think your account has been compromised.

3. What Approved! is

Approved! is an entertainment and social app. Votes, reasons, Better Deals and comments are the personal opinions of other users, not professional advice. They are not financial, legal, medical or investment advice, and you remain fully responsible for your own decisions and purchases.

Stamps, titles, badges and leaderboard positions are for fun. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and we may adjust or reset them, for example to correct errors or remove results of cheating.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (requests, photos, votes, reasons, comments, Better Deals).
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, translate, display and distribute your content within the App and its sharing features (such as Verdict Cards), and to operate, secure and improve the service. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies kept in backups for a limited period and content others have already shared.
You promise that you own or have the right to post what you submit, that it does not infringe anyone’s rights, and that it follows our Community Guidelines and the law.
Anonymous votes are hidden from other users but not from our moderators, and anonymity does not excuse breaking the rules.

5. Rules and zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. This includes harassment, hate, threats, sexual or violent content, scams, spam, illegal activity and sharing other people’s private information. The full rules are in the Community Guidelines.

Every request, comment, vote and profile can be reported, and you can block any user.
We aim to review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, warn you, suspend or ban accounts, and remove Stamps earned unfairly.
If you think we got it wrong, email info@powersupporter.com.au and we will look again.

6. Better Deals and links

Better Deals and links point to third-party shops and websites we do not control. We do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their prices, availability, content or privacy practices. Check details yourself before you buy. Do not post misleading offers or undisclosed referral or affiliate links.

7. Using the service

Do not attack, probe, overload or reverse engineer the service, scrape it, or use bots or scripts to create content or votes.
Daily limits apply (for example to requests, votes and uploads) to keep the service fair and may change.
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the App, with notice where reasonable.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, if required by law, or to protect users or the service.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for losses arising from user content, third-party sites, purchases you make, or events outside our reasonable control. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or the cost of doing so.

10. Apple and Google

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and PowerSupporter only. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance or support, and are not parties to these Terms, although they may enforce them as a third-party beneficiary where their store rules provide.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: info@powersupporter.com.au.
